Role overview Product Development Engineer II driving concept‑to‑launch execution with a strong focus on SolidWorks, DFM, and GD&T.
What you will do
Design products, subassemblies, and components using SolidWorks 3D CAD.
Apply Design for Manufacturing to ensure scalability, efficiency, and quality.
Own multiple concurrent projects; manage scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Produce and maintain engineering documentation: drawings, BOMs, ECRs, and assembly instructions.
Generate part and assembly drawings compliant with GD&T standards.
Develop fixtures, tooling, and process improvements for in‑house production.
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Production, and Quality to meet objectives.
Contribute to design reviews, technical meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Uphold company safety and quality standards.
What you bring
BS in Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of mechanical design engineering experience.
SolidWorks expertise: CAD, PDM, and Simulation/FEA.
Experience with design documentation, quality systems, GD&T, and ERP platforms.
Hands‑on assembly and mechanical troubleshooting capability.
Analytical, solution‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
Key proficiencies
Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
CAD/CAM Software
Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Compensation $90,000 – $110,000 USD. Actual salaries may vary within, above, or below this range depending on education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
