Aspen Hospitality, a division of Aspen One, develops, owns, and operates a growing portfolio of luxury and upper‑scale hotels, private clubs, and branded residential properties under The Nell and Limelight brands. This includes The Little Nell, Aspen’s only Five‑Star, Five‑Diamond ski‑in/ski‑out hotel and its affiliated Residences located at the base of Aspen Mountain, as well as a new Nell property currently in development at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Aspen Hospitality’s Limelight hotels are located across Colorado, with locations in Aspen, Snowmass, and Denver, and in Ketchum, Idaho. Two new Limelight hotels will also open in 2025 in Boulder, Colorado and Mammoth, California. The Hospitality Commercial Services Analyst is a detail‑driven, solution‑oriented professional who supports strategic initiatives that drive revenue and improve operational efficiency. This role leads hotel data analysis, streamlines reporting, and develops presentations that inform key business decisions. From optimizing systems to managing hotel sales data and supporting daily operations, the Commercial Services Analyst plays a vital role in high‑impact, cross‑functional projects, supporting hotel Sales & Revenue departments. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales. The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $85,000. Applications will be accepted until November 16, 2025. Essential Job Functions / Key Responsibilities
Analyze data to spot trends, assess risks, and make recommendations for business decisions. Seek new market insights and business opportunities through research and analysis. Work closely with commercial (sales/revenue/marketing) and operational leadership to develop and implement processes that execute group, events, and leisure business effectively. Liaison and monitor data integrity issues with core operating systems/platforms including Delphi FDC, Meeting Broker, HMS, Duetto, Cvent. Define and implement process enhancements to allow VP of Sales and Commercial team to manage daily operations, including escalations, efficiency performance, and workflow design. Write data‑backed reports to support the VP of Sales in making strategic business decisions. Develop financial models that forecast business outcomes and profits. Prepare presentations for the VP of Sales to deliver to key stakeholders, including ELT and ownership. Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements‑gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes. Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling and quantitative business intelligence with economic models to evaluate new opportunities. Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts for presentations. Assist with budget cycle and communication including STRCast, reporting, transient and group mix, BI uploads, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2 years of hospitality experience required. 2 years in hotel group and leisure sales experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficient knowledge of hotel industry‑specific business trends and research data. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Able to exercise independent judgment and act on it. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem‑solving skills. Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail. Highly self‑motivated and directed. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure. Experience working in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to manage competing resources and priorities. Ability to present findings clearly and make recommendations for action. Ability to maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes and operations. Work Environment & Physical Demands
Ability to stand, type, and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements. No adverse or hazardous conditions. Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance. Job Benefits
