We are seeking a skilled and dependable
Phlebotomist
to provide on-site specimen collection services at one of our partner healthcare offices in Marion, Ohio. This is a great opportunity for an independent, patient-focused professional who enjoys working in a clinical environment.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages. Properly identify patients and label specimens to ensure accuracy and compliance. Log procedures and enter specimen data into the computer system. Prepare specimens for courier pick-up following established protocols. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for daily use. Provide excellent patient care and maintain a professional, courteous manner at all times. Handle administrative duties related to specimen receipt and processing. Qualifications
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Comfortable and confident performing independent phlebotomy work. Strong attention to detail and data entry skills. Ability to interact professionally with patients and clinical staff. Preferred:
Prior experience working as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant with a high volume of blood draws. Familiarity with laboratory requisitioning and specimen handling procedures. Additional Details
This is an on-site, independent role within a clinical office setting. Scrubs (solid colors only) are required for dress code. Interviews may be conducted virtually or in-person with our HR and local site supervisor.
