Senior Process Engineer - Gas Processes Team

The Fuels & Natural Resources sector focuses on global investors and operators, offering consulting, design, FEED, full engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), and commissioning/start‑up services for LNG facilities, floating LNG, gas processing, NGL fractionation, gasification, hydrogen, ammonia/fertilizers, and more.
The Opportunity
Function as a technical specialist, and/or have management and administrative responsibilities for a group and project(s).
Lead process engineering design of chemical facilities, including LNG, Carbon Capture, Hydrogen, Fertilizers (Ammonia, Urea, etc.), Gasification, Fermentation, Sulfur Recovery, Gas Treatment, Biofuels, Syngas Processing, and NGL Recovery and Fractionation.
Lead implementation of solutions through the project lifecycle: feasibility, FEL stages, FEED, detailed design, EPC and commissioning.
Mentor junior engineers and review their work.
The ideal candidate should be located or willing to relocate to our World Headquarters Office in
Overland Park, KS (Kansas City)
or our Regional Office in
Houston, TX .
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in LNG liquefaction design or related technologies.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Working knowledge of PRO II, Promax, Protreat, HYSYS and similar process simulation packages.
Strong written communication, prioritization, planning, delegation, conflict management, and team‑building skills.
Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to process engineering.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance and direction on department design guides, standards, systems, and applicable engineering codes and B&V policies; own or maintain engineering standards and guides.
Ensure compliance with B&V quality program, promote quality culture, support continuous improvement, change management and risk management efforts.
Prepare complex engineering deliverables, conduct research, develop recommendations for equipment/material selection, and manage data for engineering work.
Perform complex engineering calculations, manage budget, schedule, and quality requirements, and develop advanced engineering solutions.
Coordinate with internal and external team members on complex projects, define schedules, and ensure client interests are addressed.
Identify future client needs, support business development activities, and offer additional services to clients.
Serve as technical specialist in a broad or specialized field, support multiple complex projects, and act as an industry expert or consultant.
Oversee performance management, career planning, recognition, learning and development, and mentoring of lower and mid‑level professionals.
