What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Teach 7 courses per calendar year in the online DSW program
Participate in curriculum development and course design
Contribute to admissions processes and policies, including reviewing applications
Engage in community service and outreach activities to promote the DSW program
Liaise with internal committees and participate in faculty searches and mentorship
What is Required (Qualifications)
A CSWE‑accredited MSW or MSSW and either a DSW or Ph.D. in Social Work
Minimum of 5 years of post‑MSW social work practice experience with diverse populations
At least 2 years of post‑DSW or Ph.D. experience
A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a social work program or related field
Strong organizational skills and a record of leadership in a relevant setting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Two years of experience teaching online courses in social work or a related field
Experience in marketing or program branding in an academic context
Engagement in professional development activities related to social work education
Experience with program assessment and accreditation processes
Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and practice
