Shift:

Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6:30am Sign on Bonus:

$2,500 This role supports our AmerisourceBergen business, providing vital supply chain services to healthcare providers and health systems across the United States. In this crucial role, you will work under the supervision of the Systems Manager, focusing on maximizing the effectiveness of automated equipment within our fully automated Distribution Center. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing both electrical and mechanical issues, testing, replacing, or repairing various electrical systems, including single-phase and three-phase systems up to 600 volts. You will also work with AC and DC motors, power supplies, servo drives, transformers, sensors, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Implement preventative maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and systems.

Diagnose and repair Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System-related issues in the Distribution Center.

Oversee maintenance and upgrades of Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System controls.

Evaluate equipment efficiency and recommend necessary modifications.

Perform routine maintenance to ensure uninterrupted warehouse operations.

Maintain a comprehensive repair log for all equipment using our management systems.

Manage spare parts inventory to support efficient operations.

Be prepared to work extended hours as needed to meet productivity goals.

Complete related duties as assigned.

Experience & Education: Technical vocational training or equivalent combination of experience and education is preferred.

One to two years of relevant experience is desirable, with a strong electrical background preferred.

Skills & Knowledge: Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

Ability to read and interpret diagrams and technical documentation.

Competence in diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical problems.

Familiarity with PLCs and ability to configure equipment as required.

Basic computer hardware skills for setup and installation tasks.

Proficiency with software applications, including Microsoft Office and MHE software.

Analytical skills to effectively resolve issues while adhering to timelines.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
