About the position We are looking for an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join a growing international accounting practice as a Tax Manager. This position is 100% remote within Florida, ideal for a professional who values autonomy, collaboration, and the opportunity to advise clients with complex cross‑border structures.

The ideal candidate is fluent English speaker (Spanish is a plus) with a Master’s in Accounting or Taxation and solid experience in U.S. international tax compliance and planning. This individual currently serves or has served as an International Tax Manager at a public accounting or advisory firm and is comfortable managing diverse client portfolios involving international assets and reporting.

Responsibilities

Review and oversee the preparation of U.S. federal and state tax returns for individuals and entities, including international forms such as 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 1116, 2555, 8938, 3520, and 3520‑A.

Provide inbound and outbound U.S. tax planning for high‑net‑worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and multinational structures.

Manage both individual and corporate clients—domestic and foreign—ranging from early‑stage ventures to multi‑entity international organizations.

Analyze complex tax matters and deliver strategic tax planning and compliance reports.

Lead and mentor a team of experienced tax professionals, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of all filings.

Engage directly with clients, including onboarding new engagements and preparing proposals and scope letters.

Advise on entity structuring, treaty interpretation, foreign tax credits, and international compliance issues.

Collaborate with firm leadership to drive process improvements and strengthen client relationships.

Maintain the highest technical and ethical standards while fostering trust and long‑term partnerships.

Qualifications

Active CPA license (required).

Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation (required).

Fluency in English (required), Spanish is a plus.

Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting, focusing on U.S. international taxonomy.

Proven background reviewing complex returns and leading a team of tax professionals.

Strong knowledge of international reporting requirements and cross‑border tax matters.

Experience using Lacerte or similar tax software, with advanced proficiency in Excel.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

This is a remote position, but the candidate must reside in Florida.
