Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position working 12-hour night shifts with Epic experience and a current MA RN license required.
Responsibilities Work on a 24-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit caring for patients from the emergency room and cardiac procedural areas such as cath lab and EP lab Patients include those with procedures like pacers, AICD, watchman devices, cardiac caths, and TAVRs Responsible for reading cardiac monitors Uses Epic EMR system; Epic experience is required 12-hour night shifts with an every other weekend and holiday rotation, including required coverage on Christmas No floating is mentioned No call requirements Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population including cardiac procedural patients Must be able to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team Required to work assigned holidays, with Christmas being mandatory Dress code and scrubs details are not specified First time travelers are not specifically addressed
Requirements Active MA RN license in hand required for consideration Current BLS certification required Prior experience in Med/Surg Telemetry and with Epic EMR system is required Must be able to interpret telemetry and cardiac monitors effectively Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted Candidates who previously worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a minimum 6-month separation before being considered COVID vaccine with booster and seasonal flu vaccination required, unless medically exempt Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication testing
