Base pay range $95,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Job Overview The Judge Group is searching for a Materials Manager to lead a key supply chain function within their well-respected organization.
Key Responsibilities Safety Leadership
Champion safety as the top priority across all operations.
Inventory Management
Design and implement strategies to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Monitor turnover rates, minimize excess stock, and prevent shortages.
Leverage ERP/MRP systems to manage inventory and material usage.
Material Planning & Scheduling
Align material planning with production targets.
Collaborate with production and procurement teams to forecast needs.
Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
Optimize supply-demand balance to reduce inventory costs.
Warehouse Oversight
Indirectly manage warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping.
Establish best practices for warehouse safety, compliance, labeling, and organization.
Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure smooth material flow to production.
Identify and manage suppliers to obtain quality materials at competitive rates.
Support contract negotiations and lead time optimization.
Monitor supplier performance to meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.
Process Improvement & Cost Efficiency
Identify and implement improvements in material flow and supply chain processes.
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to enhance efficiency.
Lead cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety, and company policies.
Analyze inventory and supplier data to generate actionable insights.
Provide strategic recommendations based on performance metrics.
Additional Duties
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Work in both office and manufacturing environments, with occasional travel ( Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement in a manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and inventory software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.
