Associate Creative Director (Copy) Location:
On-site/ Remote Candidates based in the Sarasota, FL area will work onsite. Remote flexibility is available for qualified candidates outside the state. About the Role Were seeking a strategic, concept-driven copy leader to help shape and elevate brand voice across every consumer touchpoint. The Associate Creative Director (Copy) bridges big-idea storytelling with digital-first, omnichannel execution, crafting copy that engages audiences, builds trust, and drives results. Youll lead concept development, guide writers, and deliver compelling messaging across organic, paid, and e-commerce channels from social and email to digital ads and retail content. Key Responsibilities Develop and lead messaging across digital, social, shopper, and omnichannel campaigns. Write and refine copy for paid media, organic social, email/CRM, and Amazon/e-commerce content. Partner with creative and marketing leads to translate insights into powerful storytelling. Maintain a consistent, authentic brand voice across all channels. Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to ideate and refine copy while ensuring brand integrity. Optimize creative performance using data and insights. Mentor copywriters and support a collaborative, high-performing creative culture.
Qualifications
710+ years of experience in copywriting, content, or creative direction. Strong portfolio showing conceptual and digital-first work. Experience with organic and paid copywriting, DTC/email, and Amazon/e-commerce content. Deep understanding of brand voice and storytelling in health, wellness, or consumer brands. Strong collaboration, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects. Familiarity with omnichannel marketing, performance metrics, and AI-assisted writing. DSHEA or FDA compliance experience a plus.
