Trustpoint is proud to partner with a nationally respected law firm in their search for a Business Intake & Conflicts Attorney. This role is an integral part of the firm’s risk management efforts, overseeing new business intake, conflicts analysis, compliance with professional standards, and related training. The attorney will manage the end-to-end conflicts and intake workflow, review engagement letters, supervise a Conflicts Analyst, and provide policy support to attorneys and staff.
Base pay range $155,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Manage conflicts and new business intake processes using Intapp Open
Review conflicts reports, engagement letters, waivers, and outside counsel guidelines
Lead conflict checks for new hires and manage ethical screens in Intapp Walls
Respond to client compliance surveys and inquiries
Provide policy guidance and training on conflicts, NBI, and compliance issues
Generate reports and metrics to support client/matter management
Supervise and mentor a Conflicts Analyst, including evaluations and professional development
Details
Schedule: Hybrid role, three days in office per week
Travel: Limited, may be required for trainings or meetings
Qualifications
Juris Doctor and active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction
5+ years of legal experience, including 3+ years in conflicts and new business intake within a law firm or legal environment
1+ years of supervisory experience with demonstrated team leadership
Strong background in conflict analysis and professional conduct rules
Proficiency in Intapp Open and Intapp Walls; familiarity with iManage preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
