PURPOSE STATEMENT The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing certain daily and monthly functions of the financial reporting department. Responsibilities include general accounting and financial reporting activities, such as the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and financial statements—including balance sheets, profit‑and‑loss statements, and capital expenditures schedules. The manager prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Fixed Assets Oversight and Consolidation

Review and supervise the work of the Fixed Asset Senior Accountant, ensuring accuracy and consistency in asset capitalization, disposals, and depreciation.

Prepare and maintain the consolidated fixed asset rollforward and capital expenditures schedule for management and audit purposes.

Joint Venture Accounting and Reporting

Oversee financial reporting and accounting activities for Acadia’s joint ventures, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and company policies.

Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to support accurate and timely internal and external reporting, including to joint venture partners.

Self‑Insurance Accounting and Reporting

Perform and review comprehensive accounting for Acadia’s self‑insured captive, including preparation and analysis of professional and general liability and workers’ compensation insurance schedules.

Collaborate with actuarial, risk management, and other relevant teams to validate reserve assumptions and reporting accuracy.

Financial Reporting

Prepare and review supporting schedules for inclusion in quarterly, annual and other SEC filings.

Complete and maintain GAAP checklist to ensure all required disclosures are appropriately addressed.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

Perform other duties as assigned, including as‑needed accounting research and miscellaneous ad hoc analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Minimum of seven years of accounting experience.

Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office—especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of office administration procedures with the ability to operate most standard office equipment.

Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels, both internal and external.

Exercise sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understand when to route inquiries to the next level.

Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.

Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames, and adapt to frequent priority changes.

Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.

English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS

PREFERRED: CPA
