Digital Marketing Manager – Global Institutional Asset Manager
A leading global alternative asset manager is seeking a
Digital Marketing Manager
to join its Global Client / Institutional Marketing organization. This group manages institutional relationships, distribution enablement, capital formation support, branding and marketing execution across the firm’s private funds and affiliate platforms.
This individual will be responsible for leading digital strategy and execution across institutional touchpoints — focused on driving brand awareness, engagement, qualified pipeline and data-driven insights. This is a hands-on leadership role owning email, website, portals, paid media and analytics across the institutional ecosystem.
Base pay range
$180,000.00/yr – $200,000.00/yr
Additional compensation
Annual Bonus Approx. 40%

Key Responsibilities
Define and execute a digital marketing roadmap for institutional investor audiences
Own digital journey mapping, UX and funnel conversion strategy
Drive continuous improvement across websites, portals and digital content pathways
Monitor competitive landscape, digital innovations, tools and best practices
Manage email marketing / institutional comms calendar (fund updates, newsletters, event invites, drip & welcome journeys)
Build and execute campaigns (A/B test subject lines, timing, content and creative)
Manage subscriber list growth, audience segmentation, persona refinement and first‑party data cleanliness
Optimize website content and campaign landing pages for institutional performance & search visibility
Oversee paid digital media (SEM, paid social, syndication) in partnership with business & brand stakeholders
Compliance + Analytics
Ensure compliance with email, privacy and data laws (CAN‑SPAM, GDPR, etc.)
Monitor KPIs (open / click / conversion / bounce / unsubscribes) and optimize for performance
Deliver actionable reporting and ROI analytics to senior marketing + capital formation stakeholders
Partner with business management / IR to connect client engagement insights to Salesforce
Leadership + Enablement
Define scalable process, workflows and playbooks
Serve as the digital subject matter expert to marketing, business, sales, brand and creative teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications or related field
8+ years in digital / email marketing (asset management, fintech, institutional or B2B strongly preferred)
Hands‑on experience across email, web, CMS, analytics and paid digital channels
Strong tooling fluency (Salesforce, Pardot/HubSpot/Marketo, Google Analytics, Cvent, Seismic, etc.)
HTML/CSS familiarity preferred
Deep knowledge of email performance optimization + compliance frameworks
Data‑driven, collaborative, detail‑oriented and highly organized
