Group Director, Quality Private Brands - VIZIO Position Summary: The Group Director, Brand Manager – VIZIO Private Brand (Walmart) is responsible for leading the strategic direction, brand management, and account operations for the VIZIO private brand business within Walmart. This role serves as the primary liaison between VIZIO and Walmart, ensuring alignment on business objectives, marketing strategies, and product development initiatives.

What you’ll do

You’ll serve as the primary account manager for Walmart, overseeing the VIZIO private brand portfolio.

You’ll develop and execute brand strategies that align with Walmart’s merchandising goals and VIZIO’s business objectives.

You’ll collaborate closely with Walmart merchants to drive category growth, optimize product assortments, and deliver compelling value propositions.

You’ll support Sam’s Club initiatives by aligning VIZIO private brand strategies with club-specific merchandising and marketing plans.

You’ll lead in partnership with cross‑functional teams including marketing, product development, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives.

You’ll analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.

You’ll manage promotional planning, pricing strategies, and in‑store/online merchandising efforts in partnership with Walmart and Sam’s Club teams.

You’ll foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across Walmart and Sam’s Club to advocate for the VIZIO brand and ensure mutual success.

You’ll ensure compliance with Walmart’s operational standards, timelines, and reporting requirements.

You’ll represent VIZIO in joint business planning sessions, line reviews, and executive meetings with Walmart and Sam’s Club leadership.

What you’ll bring

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.

Over 10 years of experience in brand management, account management, or retail marketing, preferably within the consumer electronics or CPG industry.

A proven track record of managing large retail accounts, ideally Walmart and/or Sam’s Club.

Strong leadership, communication, and relationship‑building skills.

An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Experience working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience in quality assurance, product development, retail merchandising, or related field OR 8 years of experience in quality assurance, product development, retail merchandising, or related field.

5 years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Leading cross‑functional teams

Process Improvement certification (for example, Six Sigma)

Quality Assurance (QA)
