A leading technology company in Chicago is searching for a proactive Executive Assistant to be the right hand to the company’s CEO. This hybrid role is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to be at the heart of high-impact, game-changing work. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and a master at juggling multiple priorities with ease. This role offers a competitive salary of $100,000–$120,000, annual bonus eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, PTO, and 401(k).
Key Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant
Deliver high-level executive support, anticipating needs and managing priorities with professionalism, efficiency, and discretion.
Coordinate complex calendars, meetings, and events across multiple time zones, ensuring everything runs smoothly and strategically.
Act as a key liaison between executives, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and strategic planning sessions.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity and care.
Support ongoing projects and special initiatives in a fast-moving, high-energy tech environment.
Demonstrate adaptability and problem-solving skills to ensure flawless daily operations.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative culture, representing the company professionally in all interactions.
Qualifications of the Executive Assistant
5+ years of executive assistant experience, ideally within private equity, or high-growth entrepreneurial environments.
Proven ability to operate independently as a self-starter, anticipating needs with independence.
Exceptional organizational skills with laser-sharp attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident interacting with senior executives and external stakeholders.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
Flexible, adaptable, and energized by fast-paced, evolving environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools like Teams, Zoom, and Slack.
Energetic, personable, and proactive, with a passion for supporting high-impact, innovative work.
