Job Title: Job Captain Join a dynamic Retail Studio in Seattle as an Intermediate Architectural Staff member. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in collaborative environments and are dedicated to producing high-quality construction documents in a fast-paced setting. You will be part of a supportive team, making an immediate impact while focusing on detail-oriented design execution.

Responsibilities

Produce full sets of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.

Apply building codes and technical detailing to design projects.

Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to ensure project success.

Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools effectively.

Support site planning, material selection, and cost estimating processes.

Engage in light project management and client interaction when necessary.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in producing detailed, code-compliant drawing sets using Revit.

Skilled in consultant coordination and application of building codes and standards.

Clear communication skills for effective team collaboration and meeting deadlines.

Experience with retail projects and construction documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with high-volume retail rollout projects, preferably in the food & beverage sector.

Ability to lead junior staff and contribute to team coordination.

Comfortable supporting client interactions.

Work Environment Enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule with core hours for collaboration, working Monday through Thursday in‑office and Friday as a hybrid day. Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is

$29.00 - $36.00/hr .
