Our Company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Leasing Consultant for Northside Transit Village, a community of 600+ units in Miami, FL.

Schedule: M-F, 8am - 5pm with 2 Saturdays a month

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description Summary The Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing out community apartments and assisting tenants with their needs. Their duties include meeting with prospective tenants to determine lease terms, receiving security deposits, and coordinating with current tenants to discuss lease changes, and best promote the business.

Responsibilities

Answers telephones and provides leasing information, schedules appointments for tours, takes maintenance requests, assists residents with needs, etc.

Welcomes and shows prospective residents the property, explains the application process, prepares move‑in packet upon approval of the application.

Reviews and explains information to resident (i.e., gate cards, gate codes, lease, community policies and move‑in inventory), based on HUD, LIHTC programs.

Walks with a resident upon move‑in to complete the move‑in inventory sheet and ensure signature prior to keys being released.

Assists in the handling of resident service request and various concerns as required.

Types up and delivers community and resident letters with Manager approval.

Ensures all proper screening of applications, signs lease agreements and ensures proper collection of fees and rents, based on the HUD/LIHTC regulations accurately and timely.

Assists in keeping the office neat and clean.

Assists in follow‑up on work orders.

Requirements

High School Diploma and one to two years related experience and/or training in residential services, customer service, or sales or equivalent combination of education and experience.

One year of LIHTC/Affordable housing experience.

Previous experience with marketing, sales, and customer service.

Experience with Bluemoon, YieldStart preferred and Onsite or Yardi (CRM, Voyager, P2P) required.

Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Cover leasing office on weekend shifts as needed.
