DSJ Global is partnered with a leading steel manufacturing organization, to expand their Engineering team. We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to join the Reliability Group, working closely with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure optimal performance of critical equipment in a heavy manufacturing environment.
This role is integral to maintaining and improving reliability across large-scale machinery and systems, including heat treat lines and rotational equipment.
As the Reliability Engineer, you will:
Perform vibration analysis and manage thermography programs for hydraulic and electrical systems.
Conduct ultrasonic monitoring routes and general condition monitoring.
Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures, focusing on motors and rotational equipment.
Collaborate with mechanical maintenance teams and support capital projects.
Drive reliability initiatives to reduce downtime and improve asset performance.
The Reliability Engineer should have:
BS in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or related field.
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing environments.
Hands‑on experience with vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, bearings, lubricants, and materials.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in hot, loud, and challenging environments.
