Performing Arts Center Director (HEO)
Location: Lehman College, Bronx, NY.
Position Details Lehman Stages, part of Lehman College Auxiliary Enterprise Corporation, is a self‑funded professional arts organization that manages and develops performance and event facilities, including the 500‑seat Lovinger Theatre, the Black Box/Studio Theatre, the Student Experimental Theatre, and the Dance Lab. It provides performance and conference space to arts, civic, and government organizations, as well as comprehensive production services to the university’s Music, Multimedia, Theatre and Dance Department.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement plans for space utilization in all rehearsal and performance spaces.
Coordinate the scheduling of Lehman Stages with the Director of the Theatre and Dance Program for college events and external bookings to support community outreach.
Manage all technical and administrative staff, including house staff, stage managers, and administrative assistants.
Oversee environmental aspects of all spaces, including cleaning, maintenance, and staff from other departments as required.
Maintain financial accounts and payroll for Lehman Stages staff and crews.
Prepare the budget for the spaces and handle procurement of equipment and other products.
Develop public relations and marketing products; handle all Lehman Stages correspondence.
Supervise on‑site events open to the public.
Write grants, engage in fundraising, and develop marketing strategies for Lehman Stages.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and eight years of related experience.
Legally eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship not offered.

Compensation and Benefits Salary commensurate with education and experience, $136,546–$141,643.
