About the Role The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of large or multiple K‑12 projects, ensuring operational excellence across preconstruction, construction, and closeout. This individual will serve as both team leader and client liaison, driving project success while mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of project execution from early planning through warranty closeout

Manage budgets, forecasts, and project financials to meet or exceed performance targets

Guide and mentor project managers and engineers, providing direction and support

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and community stakeholders

Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams to align project budgets and schedules before start‑up

Review and approve major change orders, pay applications, and procurement packages

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures across all sites

Evaluate project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred

7+ years of progressive project management experience, including K‑12 or institutional work in Texas

Proven ability to lead multi‑project teams, manage large budgets, and deliver projects on time

Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship‑building skills

Proficient with project management software and cost tracking systems
