Position Description Our client is seeking a mid‑level associate to join its Family Wealth Resolution & Disputes Practice Group, focusing on trust and estate litigation. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of civil litigation experience and a strong interest in handling matters related to trusts and estates. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a seasoned partner in a collaborative environment, gaining deep subject matter expertise while mentoring junior attorneys. The position is hybrid and based out of San Francisco, Sacramento, San Rafael, or Walnut Creek.

Responsibilities

Manage litigation matters involving trusts and estates

Draft legal documents and pleadings

Participate in dispute resolution processes

Provide legal counsel to clients on trust and probate issues

Collaborate with senior attorneys and mentor junior associates

Handle multiple matters simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience

Strong writing and analytical skills

Ability to manage complex cases and client relationships

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in trust and probate litigation

Familiarity with fiduciary duties and estate administration

Experience mentoring junior attorneys
