Salary:
$25.00/hr - $31.00/hr (based on skills and experience).
A Parent Partner provides one‑on‑one guidance and support to families or caregivers in a variety of environments and community settings. They act as a significant member of the Child and Family Team (CFT) and work under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or Program Manager.
Responsibilities
Advocacy: Utilize personal and professional experience to provide advocacy and support to parents/caregivers.
Objectives: Develop measurable objectives for clients/families and monitor progress toward those goals.
Case Management: Provide general case management and skill building for clients and families according to program and regulatory policies.
Linkage: Explore and provide linkage to community support services, ensuring at least one resource per family per week.
Education: Deliver parent‑education activities, including support groups, workshops, and in‑service trainings.
Strength‑Based: Adhere to a non‑judgmental, strength‑based model and collaborate with staff and the clinical team.
Boundaries: Ensure delivery of family‑centered strategies within professional boundaries.
Travel: Travel independently to various environments to provide field services.
Productivity: Meet productivity requirements and complete required documentation per system policies.
Meetings: Attend staff meetings, supervision, training, and conferences as scheduled.
Supervision: Meet regularly with supervisor to review cases and communicate critical issues timely.
Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of all records related to minors.
Training: Complete the PPTA 12‑Day Parent Partner Training Academy and obtain certificate.
Other: Perform additional duties as prescribed by supervisor.
Qualifications Must complete the PPTA (12‑Day Parent Partner Training Academy) and maintain certification. Experience in advocacy and case management is required, along with the ability to travel and work independently.
