Chief Financial Officer (CFO) About the Company Accomplished private equity firm Industry Venture Capital & Private Equity Type Private Equity Firm About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for its Family Office. The CFO will be tasked with leading the finance, accounting, and tax reporting functions for the privately held, family-owned corporation and its related entities. This includes responsibilities such as financial and tax planning, compliance with financial and other covenants, risk management, and administrative oversight. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to influence long-term strategic investment and portfolio management goals, oversee junior personnel, and coordinate with external service providers. Applicants for the CFO position should have a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in financial planning or financial accounting for US-based entities, with a preference for those with a background in Big 4, large public accounting firms, investment companies, or Family Offices. A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in accounting, along with a CPA, is required. The role demands proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, as well as the ability to work with multiple entities and intercompany transactions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
