Base Pay Range $280,000.00/yr – $320,000.00/yr
The Role As Vice President of Software Engineering, you will lead a globally distributed team of over 350 engineers building next-generation financial wellness and identity products. You’ll drive technical strategy, organizational scaling, and engineering excellence across Java, Scala, web, and native mobile platforms, all powered by AWS cloud-native infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Architecture to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing systems while fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and accountability. This is a highly visible role with a seat at the executive table, helping define and deliver the technology strategy that powers the company’s future.
Requirements
Proven success leading large, distributed engineering organizations (200+).
Expertise in Java, Scala, web, and native mobile development.
Deep experience with cloud-native (AWS) architectures and large-scale, real-time systems.
Strong track record driving Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation initiatives.
Experience in financial technology or regulated industries preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
The Benefits $280,000–$320,000 base salary + annual bonus + RSU package, along with 401k, health, dental, and vision benefits.
