As a General Manager, your primary responsibility is to guarantee the site’s success by overseeing all sales and service operations. In this pivotal role, you will lead cross‑functional managers and institute streamlined, customer‑focused processes to propel Tesla’s mission of accelerating the global transition to sustainable energy. Customer Satisfaction: Manage the end‑to‑end customer journey, monitor service trends, and improve communication, processes, and relationships.
Adaptability: Excel in dynamic problem‑solving, lead with a clear “why,” remain resilient under pressure, and actively pursue personal development.
Results‑Oriented: Communicate business priorities, ensure clear expectations, take ownership of site performance, set and achieve targets while holding the team accountable.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree, professional experience leading an end‑to‑end customer‑facing operation in a fast‑paced environment, or equivalent experience.
Relentless drive for excellence; provide recognition and feedback daily while making team members feel included and valued.
First‑principles thinker who finds a creative path to solve previously unsolvable problems, with exceptional integrity through a dedicated and ethical approach to sales and service operations.
Commitment and enthusiasm to work evenings and weekends alongside the rest of the team.
Must be able to stand or sit for 8 hours or more; occasional travel required for off‑site meetings and events, typically less than 10% of the time.
Valid driver’s license required.
For roles working in CA, CO, HI, ID, MD, MS, NV, NC, OH, PA, TN, UT, VA, DC: Must possess a Motor Vehicle Salesperson License issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles. Without the license, cannot engage in sales activities.
For roles working in AZ, GA, HI, IA, IN, NC, NJ, NM, NY, OH, PA, VT, WA: Notary license is preferred; Tesla will provide assistance with obtaining a license if required.
