Description The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The general manager works with leadership to set goals, develops a plan to achieve those goals, and leads a team of Department Managers to improve departments, as well as hiring and developing personnel.
Responsibilities
Run a profitable and high‑volume restaurant.
Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
Set restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership.
Create plans to achieve those goals.
Lead and coach Department Managers to set their own goals.
Provide coaching and direction to improve department performance.
Oversee hiring and development of Department and Shift Managers.
Qualifications
Previous General Manager experience running high‑volume restaurants.
Background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail.
Minimum age of 18 years.
