Job Summary
The San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking a Child Nutrition Services Supervisor to oversee district-wide child nutrition programs. Responsibilities include planning, directing, implementing, and coordinating all aspects of the district Child Nutrition Programs to ensure student access to nutritious and cost‑effective meals; ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws; serving as the lead supervisor to Child Nutrition Services personnel; evaluating performance; recommending discipline and resolving grievances; filling for the Director during absences.
Qualifications
Valid California driver’s license
Food safety certificate issued by an approved provider (California Health and Safety Code Section 113947)
10 hours of continuing education/training units per 7CFR210
3 letters of recommendation (Letter of Introduction, Letter(s) of Recommendation), Resume
Experience supervising school nutrition service work and knowledge of federal/state/local child nutrition regulations
Compensation
Pay Range $108,385 - $129,224 Annually; 24 vacation days per year, 12 sick days per year; monthly cap for health benefits; term life insurance $75,000.
