Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic - Brooklyn.
In this role, the successful candidate has working knowledge of all trades: electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC and works on associated systems and equipment. Capable of following manufacturers assembly sketches and drawings and simple blueprints.
Job Responsibilities
Operate chillers, absorbers, Co-Gen.
Boiler operations and troubleshooting.
Plumbing work (valves, traps, etc.).
Water testing and chemical treatment.
Install, maintain and repair pumps, compressors, motors, fans, etc.
Maintain, repair and adjust heating and cooling systems controls.
Maintain, repair SanI-Pak machine, sterilizers.
Repair different rolling equipment (beds, stretchers, crash carts, etc.).
Electrical wiring knowledge, capable to replace parts.
Maintain and repair fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
Install and repair hardware on doors, windows, lockers and other equipment.
Maintain and repair carwash, dishwashing machines, kettles, etc.
Minimum Qualifications High school or equivalent; trade school graduate preferred. Minimum of 5+ years of experience. Must have a working knowledge in the operation and maintenance of all equipment components in the power plant. Must have an excellent grasp in all trades.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Salary Range $69,551.06 - $69,551.06 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
