Responsibilities
Lead the strategic development, direction, and implementation of all sales and marketing activities for Hard Rock Cafe and its brand extensions.
Develop brand‑centric programs, ensuring consistency with the overall marketing strategy and delivering guest‑focused initiatives.
Collaborate with senior leadership to shape communication, public relations, advertising, and social media strategies.
Oversee budget planning, policy development, and performance measurement for marketing operations.
Provide guidance to Directors of Marketing and Digital Marketing on campaign execution and creative development.
Serve as the primary liaison to external agencies, media partners, and the trade and consumer press.
Identify and exploit cross‑promotional opportunities to boost brand awareness, customer retention, and revenue growth.
Drive incremental P&L results by increasing sales across all segments of the cafe division.
Ensure all marketing initiatives align with HRI’s values and corporate objectives.

Essential Functions
Brand Strategy
– Define, articulate, and drive Hard Rock International’s sales and marketing strategies within a global context.
Develop short‑term and long‑term marketing plans for the cafe division and segment‑specific strategies.
Identify and exploit cross‑promotional opportunities to enhance brand awareness and relevance.
Marketing & Creative Services
Maintain an efficient marketing organization; select, develop, motivate, and evaluate creative staff.
Oversee public relations, advertising, and overall communications for the cafe division.
Serve as a key liaison between the cafe division and external media, including agency relationships.
Supervise marketing budget preparation and adhere to corporate guidelines.
Support creation and deployment of promotional materials, press kits, and collateral.
Research & Development
Lead consumer research initiatives to align products with brand strategy and market needs.
Collaborate with operations, franchise, food & beverage, design & construction, merchandise, retail, e‑commerce, and licensing teams.
Continue to challenge status quo in offerings and guest experience.
General Functions
Ensure positive P&L results and increase sales across the division.
Oversee public relations, advertising, and corporate communications.
Develop strategic marketing plans and troubleshoot campaign challenges.
Coordinate agency relationships and press releases.
Manage marketing budgets, policies, and procedures.
Develop and maintain creative collateral and promotional materials.
Lead a structurally efficient sales and marketing organization.
Foster a team‑oriented environment.

10+ years of disciplined marketing, brand building, and guest experience expertise.
Demonstrated success with leading, well‑branded organizations.
Progressive experience in marketing leadership roles with oversight of complete sales and marketing functions.
Expertise in disciplined branding techniques and execution of high‑impact campaigns.
Track record of driving revenue growth through innovative marketing initiatives.
Experience building business through creative partnerships.
Financial acumen to identify and negotiate external investment opportunities.
Excellent persuasive and selling skills across organizational levels.
Energetic, resourceful, hands‑on executive capable of operating with minimal direction.
Positive, upbeat attitude and passion for the brand and organization.
Language Skills
Strong communication and listening skills; excellent speaking, reading, and writing in English.
Ability to convey complex ideas in technical or professional language.
Proficiency in presenting information to various audience sizes.
Multilingual abilities are a plus; fluency in English is required.
