The Team & Role

We’re looking for an experienced

Senior HR Business Partner & U.S. Site Lead

to lead all people‑related initiatives for our U.S. operations. This role combines

strategic HR partnership

with

hands‑on HR management , making it ideal for a senior HR leader who thrives in both strategy and execution.

You’ll serve as a

trusted advisor

to our U.S. leadership team, supporting business growth, leadership effectiveness, and team development—while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

This position partners closely with our global HR team headquartered outside the U.S., acting as the key bridge between our U.S. sites and our international culture.

What you will be doing Strategic Partnership (HRBP focus — 60%)

Partner with U.S. senior leaders across Tech, Product, and Go‑To‑Market functions to align people strategy with business goals.

Act as a trusted advisor and coach to managers, supporting leadership development, performance, and engagement.

Lead culture initiatives that foster innovation, collaboration, and inclusion across our U.S. teams.

Collaborate with global HR counterparts to shape programs in performance management, career development, and engagement.

Use people analytics to identify trends, assess organizational health, and inform decision‑making.

Design and implement HR strategies that support our growth as a global, AI‑driven tech company.

Operational & Compliance Leadership (HR Manager focus — 40%)

Oversee the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, performance, retention, and employee experience.

Manage compliance across multi‑state operations; ensure adherence to U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws.

Own HR policies and employee handbook updates, adapting global practices to local requirements.

Partner with Payroll, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless HR operations.

Drive communication and engagement across teams, ensuring alignment with global culture and values.

Support employee relations, policy interpretation, and disciplinary actions when needed.

Your Skills And Experience

7+ years of Senior HRBP and/or HR Manager experience in fast‑growing global tech companies.

Proven experience leading HR for U.S. operations of global organizations headquartered outside the U.S.

Deep knowledge of U.S. employment law and multi‑state compliance.

Strong business acumen and ability to connect HR initiatives to business impact.

Track record of coaching managers and influencing senior leaders.

Skilled in HRIS platforms, analytics, and using data to guide people decisions.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative mindset.

Willingness to travel periodically to our Chicago office.

Nice‑to‑have

Experience supporting Sales or Go‑To‑Market teams.

Exposure to creative, media, or AI‑driven tech environments.

Expected salary range for this role is $150,000-$160,000
