Position Summary Reporting to the Food Services Manager and working within the kitchen, cafeteria, dishroom and/or patient services, the Senior Food Service Associate performs a variety of food service tasks in the areas of meal assembly, service and delivery, catering, dishwashing, sanitation and safety, and assists in training of new Food Service Workers.

Required Qualifications

Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Minimum 3 years prior skilled food preparation/service experience

Knowledge and practice of kitchen sanitary control techniques

Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
