Position Summary This role provides evidence based vision care to ensure patient health and wellbeing by recommending and prescribing medications and other treatment options. You will deliver routine vision care, educate patients and associates on eye health, and collaborate with other health professionals to prepare patient care plans within optometry scope of practice per state board. What Youll Do Provide evidence based vision care, including medicine and treatment recommendations. Deliver routine vision care using evidence based guidelines and educate patients and staff on eye health, contact lenses, disease states, and safety. Consult with other health professionals to prepare patient care plans within optometry scope. Embrace new equipment technology and advanced instrumentation such as digital phoropters, EMR, Maestro (OCT/retinal camera combo).
Qualifications Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school. Licensed optometrist in good standing in the state of practice. Experience in treating and managing ocular disease. EMR/EHR experience. Eagerness to embrace new equipment technology and advanced instrumentation.
Preferred Qualifications Healthcare related experience or additional certifications.
Salary & Benefits Annual salary range:
$135,000 $200,000 . Additional compensation includes performance bonuses and, for certain positions, regional pay adjustments.
