ATC Agent

We're looking for an ATC Agent to join our Office of Alcohol & Tobacco Control team to help ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations through the monitoring and inspection of those licensed with, or seeking licensure from, the Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control. Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in active military service or in law enforcement. Experience substitution: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience. Necessary special requirements: Applicant must be at least 21 years of age. Possession of a current Louisiana driver's license. This position requires the incumbent to handle and carry firearms. An applicant who has been convicted of a felony or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by state and federal laws are granted. In this role, you will: Conduct inspections and investigations and prepare reports of each investigation/inspection. Maintain investigative files and current data on alcoholic beverage and tobacco outlets in assigned area. Conduct underage compliance operations to determine frequency of sales of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products to minors. Monitors assigned areas for rates of compliance. Conduct physical inspections of proposed alcoholic beverage and tobacco outlets applying to be licensed to ensure requirements of state and local laws have been met. Position-specific details: Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, Job Appointment, Detail to Special Duty or WAE Career Progression: This position may be filled as an ATC Agent 1, 2 or 3 Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
