Maintenance Technician (Residential)

Job Summary
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established property management organization in the Burlington area to help them hire a Maintenance Technician. This key role supports daily maintenance operations, ensuring that facilities, equipment, and systems are safe, functional, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components. Complete service requests, repairs, and equipment replacements in a timely, professional manner. Support property turnover and readiness by completing unit inspections, repairs, and updates per checklist. Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and mechanical equipment safely and effectively. Maintain electronic work order documentation and communicate updates using phone or tablet-based systems. Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance needs (approximately six weeks per year). Follow all safety, purchasing, and property maintenance procedures as directed by management. Qualifications and Must-Haves
2+ years of maintenance, building repair, or facilities experience preferred. Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required. Strong problem-solving skills and a team-focused attitude. Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and move materials up to 75 lbs. as needed. Pay Details:
$23.00 to $29.00 per hour
