Job Summary The Webmaster will develop and administrate Dalton State College’s primary website to ensure proper functionality, security, and a positive user experience. The Webmaster works closely with leadership in the Office of Marketing and Communications and internal partners to determine website strategy, design, and functionality to satisfy customer needs, industry standards, and best practices. This is a on‑site position based in our Dalton, GA Campus.

Front‑end website design and development – 50%: builds, maintains, content publishing, debugging, training
Website administration – 25%: hosting, domain, testing, upgrades, security, audits
Assessment and planning – 25%: performance monitoring, SEO, goal setting, innovation, project management
Qualifications
Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience
Three years of relevant experience
Experience with WordPress CMS or other open‑source content system: theme and plugin development, maintenance, user administration, page design, SEO
Five or more years of relevant experience (preferred)
Minimum Hourly Rate $23.89
