Position Overview As a Group Lead in our Final Assembly Department, you will be responsible for coordinating daily tasks and work assignments for team members. You will closely monitor manufacturing progress and provide support to your assigned employees to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Daily Responsibilities
Ensure all safety measures are followed.
Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to define key production steps, sequences, and durations, and to establish work scope by station or cell.
Assign daily tasks and goals while translating supervisor's weekly objectives into clear daily and hourly targets.
Document daily task completion and coordinate work schedules to align with operational goals.
Assist in preparing standardized work instructions and provide critical process control guidance to production, maintenance, and quality teams.
Implement manufacturing improvements, complex process changes, and technology upgrades.
Provide critical process control guidance to production, maintenance, and quality teams to enhance dimensional accuracy and overall product quality.
Monitor production progress and escalate issues to the manager or appropriate support teams as needed.
Qualifications
Prior experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment while maintaining and promoting high team morale.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively train and develop team members.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, tracking, and reporting.
Experience prototyping new assemblies and implementing process improvements.
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for accessing information such as drawings and bills of materials (BOMs).
Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze production data using spreadsheet applications.
Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and train others effectively.
Track record of fostering a positive work environment that encourages team engagement and collaboration.
Siemens experience preferred.

Candidate should be comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment when required.
Job duties may require standing, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using hands to handle objects or tools.

Ability to lift and/or move items up to 40 pounds is required.
Specific vision abilities include: close and distance vision, color differentiation, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
