The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
A minimum of 6 months of experience as a food server.
A Valid Food Safety Certification and RBS Certification.
The ability to work a full shift (8 hours) walking/standing.
The ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The ability to effectively communicate with English language‑speaking guests.
Knowledge about Food and Beverage services including all wines, beers, spirits, cocktails, hot beverages, other non‑alcoholic beverages, cuisines and the overall enhancing of the dining experience.
Previous experience working in Fine Dining is a PLUS!
Shift Pattern:
Part‑Time
Shift:
Varies: AM/PM (including weekends and holidays)
Hourly Rate:
$16.50 per hour (plus gratuity)
What will I be doing? As a Food Server, you would be responsible for serving beverages and/or food to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials.
Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in appropriate point‑of‑sale system.
Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner.
Replenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
Serve alcoholic/non‑alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations.
Ensure serving station is well‑stocked at all times.
