The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton is South Florida's iconic beachfront destination located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale in Hollywood, Florida and has 1,000 rooms.
Our ideal candidate has previous customer service, sales or front‑office experience, can multitask, is organized, detail oriented and proactive and has a great desire to learn and grow within the department and company. Hilton experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
Shift Pattern : Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with weekend availability if needed.

What will I be doing?
Provide the director and managers of sales and marketing with administrative and clerical support, including word processing, typing, e‑mailing, filing, data‑entry, faxing, copying, corresponding, answering telephones, processing mail, taking notes and/or dictation, making travel arrangements and performing other general office duties. Assist on special projects as needed.
Assist the director and managers of sales with administrative and clerical support, including word processing, typing, e‑mailing, filing, data‑entry, faxing, copying, corresponding, answering telephones, processing mail, taking notes and/or dictation, making travel arrangements and performing other general office duties.
Assist the Sales Managers upon request to conduct site inspections with potential group clients and/or receive visitors/clients.
Data entry using Microsoft Word and Excel, including correspondence, reports, marketing pieces, direct mail, contracts, internal forms, and schedule of events.
Prepare proposals and/or contracts to advise prospective customers primarily of the hotel guest rooms, but also meeting space and/or banquet dates, space and rate availability.
Initiate reservations for group attendees, prepare rooming lists, revise existing reservations, build group blocks in the PMS as needed, and communicate with external customers as directed by event service managers.
Handle email correspondence directed by managers as needed. Answer telephones and assist internal and external guests with requests.
