About the Role As a

CyberLife SME , you will work closely with one of our largest insurance clients, supporting multiple stages of the software development lifecycle—including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, maintenance, version upgrades, conversions, and migrations. You will represent DXC with the client, ensuring we deliver clean, scalable solutions aligned with their needs. This role also involves driving process improvements, implementing best practices, mentoring colleagues, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

Support a team of software engineers by providing technical guidance, code reviews, and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver software solutions.

Mentor and coach team members, supporting their professional development.

Contribute to the software engineering strategy and participate in technology discussions and assessments.

Manage project tasks, priorities, and timelines to ensure goals are met.

Track project resources and budgets, identifying risks and resolving issues proactively.

Promote innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

6+ years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.

Minimum of 2+ years of experience with CyberLife.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development methodologies.

Strong programming and debugging skills.

Some experience in leadership, mentoring, or team coordination.

Familiarity with software development best practices and methodologies.

Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and time management skills.

Growth mindset and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in a related field.

Relevant certifications or specialized training.

Work Environment

Hybrid: The selected candidate will be required to report to the nearest DXC office.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours.
