ASSYST is seeking a
ServiceNow Developer
to support a government customer based in Austin, TX. This hybrid role combines on‑site and telework responsibilities. The developer will manage end‑to‑end ServiceNow implementation, from configuration and development to integration services. Responsibilities
Deliver hands‑on configuration, development and integration services and serve in a quality assurance capacity for all project deliverables. Complete ServiceNow Implementation certification. Apply experience from ITIL, ITSM and security/regulatory implementations. Deliver end‑to‑end automated solutions, including: • User provisioning processes integrating with internal and external systems. • Technical implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes. • Workflow customization. • Ticketing. • System configurations. Build and code a Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Execute 5 or more end‑to‑end ServiceNow implementation projects. Leverage LDAP, AD, SSO, Email Infrastructure, Web Services, ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping and Discovery via Service Graph Connectors. Design and develop integrations with both custom‑built applications and COTS/SaaS products. Participate in process flow analysis and redesign sessions. Ensure inter‑module configuration does not negatively impact other areas. Collaborate effectively with remote teams. Share best practices and provide consultative guidance during technical design and implementation. Required Experience
Hands‑on ServiceNow development, customization and administration in ITSM, ITOM, S AM, ITBM and/or equivalent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for implementation activities. Proficiency across ServiceNow modules: ITBM, DevOps, SecOps, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, ITSM, Change Management, User Provisioning, Incident, Problem, Asset, CMDB, Service Catalog and Email modules. Design, develop and implement inbound/outbound integrations using Azure AD, SSO Trusted Sources, Mid Server, REST/SOAP web services, email and related technologies. Preferred Experience
Industry and project experience with ServiceNow. Technical documentation: Design, Implementation and Configuration Plans. ServiceNow System Administrator and/or Implementation Specialist certification. Experience implementing core processes: User provisioning, Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request and CMDB. ASSYST is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
