Important Note: The working position is Hybrid – On Site and Telework. Candidates selected for this opportunity may be required to physically attend meetings in Austin, TX, with minimal notice.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
The ServiceNow developer will work on end-to-end ServiceNow implementation at DFPS.
This role is also responsible for the following:
Deliver hands‑on configuration, development and integration services and serve in a quality assurance capacity for all project deliverables.
ServiceNow Implementation certification.
Experience with ServiceNow implementations spanning ITIL, ITSM and security/regulatory disciplines.
Leverage knowledge and experience to deliver end‑to‑end automated solutions which include:
User Provisioning process that integrates with internal and external systems.
Technical implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes.
Workflow customization.
Ticketing.
Process automation.
Report development.
Dashboard creation.
System configurations.
Experience building and coding Configuration Management Databases (CMDB).
Development experience in 5 or more end‑to‑end ServiceNow implementation projects.
Knowledge of LDAP, AD, SSO, Email Infrastructure, Web Services, ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Discovery using Service Graph Connectors.
Experience designing and developing integration with applications that are custom built, COTS and SaaS products.
Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign sessions.
Understand how different ServiceNow modules interact to ensure that configuration done in one area does not negatively impact other areas.
Knowledge of scripting languages, including JavaScript.
Experience working with remote teams.
Share best practices and be consultative throughout the technical design and implementation of the project.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements
4 Required: Hands‑on ServiceNow development, customization, administration experience in ITSM, ITOM, S AM, ITBM and/or equivalent.
4 Required: Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing when working on ServiceNow implementation activities.
3 Required: Experienced in most of ServiceNow ITBM, DevOps, SecOps, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, ITSM, and Change Management Practices.
3 Required: Working knowledge of ServiceNow User Provisioning, Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, Service Catalog, Email modules, etc.
3 Required: Designed, developed, and implemented integrations inbound/outbound with ServiceNow using Azure AD, trusted sources for SSO, Mid server, web services REST/SOAP, email and other relevant technologies.
Preferred
4 Preferred: Industry and project experience with ServiceNow.
4 Preferred: Technical documentation including Technical Design, Implementation, and Configuration Plans.
3 Preferred: ServiceNow System Administrator and/or Implementation Specialist certification.
3 Preferred: Experience implementing the Core Process Areas: User provisioning, Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, and CMDB.
3 Preferred: Technical knowledge highly desirable in programming e.g. Java, JavaScript, SQL, etc.
