Base Pay $70,550 – $95,450 per year (salary based on experience, location, and contractual requirements).

Job Description The primary function is to organize, install, and support government organization’s computer systems, including LANs, WANs, network segments, intranets, and other data communication systems. The role includes helping architect, design, and analyze network models, participating in decisions about hardware/software upgrades, and providing technical support to users. Additionally, the position supports Department of Defense agencies, providing day‑to‑day support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities.

Key Responsibilities

Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server OS, Microsoft Exchange Server, RHEL administration, and associated hardware.

Working knowledge of Cisco networking, switching, and virtualization technologies.

LAN, WAN, and data backup technologies with COMSEC integration.

Understanding of Risk Management Framework, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy for assessments and authorization.

Current relevant experience with PL2 network environment/systems.

Familiarity with DoD policy for system and network administration.

Operate under supervision and execute day‑to‑day management of systems and networks.

Manage COTS & GOTS products to collect, display, and remediate automated system security and operations/performance metrics.

Follow O&M checklists; build TTPs and SOPs associated with service checklists.

Operate monitoring tools and enterprise SIEM, create/tailor complex event alarms and reports.

Assist in analyzing technical risk of emerging cybersecurity tools and processes.

Work as part of a security incident response team as needed.

Technical competency in supported platforms (Windows Server, RHEL, Hyper‑Visors, networking/firewalls, IDS/IPS, forensic analysis, vulnerability assessment, Group Policy, scripting, BMC Footprints, WSUS, Lumension, BitLocker, SQL Server, Tomcat, IIS, Windows Server 2012/2016, Windows 10, Red Hat 6.5, Office).

Use toolkits, SEIMs, LogRhythm, ACAS/Nessus/SCAP, mandatory/role‑based access control concepts, VoIP, Oracle/MS SQL database security, and web server security.

Experience

1+ years of related experience.

SAP experience desired.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related area OR Associate’s degree + 2 years experience OR equivalent (desired).

Certifications (required or preferred within 6 months of hire)

IAT Level I – (Security+, CCNA Security, etc.).

Security Clearance

Current Top‑Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Eligibility for Special Access Program information.

Willingness to submit to a counterintelligence polygraph.

Other Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Location & Hours

Location: USA, CO – Colorado Springs.

Scheduled weekly hours: 40.

Travel required: 10–25%.

Telecommuting options: Onsite.
