Position Description Full Stack Developer, Wealth & Distribution Architecture, Wealth & Distribution Technology. The Sales & Distribution Architecture team supports multiple delivery organizations for our main distribution channels. As peers, architects lead with accountability, coaching, collaboration, creativity, and knowledge to define solutions that drive business outcomes and technical modernization. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years of experience in software development and/or engineering, with a strong focus on financial services.
Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, and core JavaScript (ES6+).
Experience with Redux, Express.js, TypeScript, and other relevant libraries.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI & CD pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong knowledge of security best practices, especially in handling sensitive financial data.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
2+ years of experience in sales & distribution related business processes and technologies, including at least one of the following sub‑domains: Distribution Management, Incentive Management (compensation, recognition), Broker‑Dealer Administration, Insurance Distribution.
Skilled leading and/or participating in system design and development activities, including technical requirement writing and leading collaboration sessions for design reviews and decisions.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team‑based environment with employees, vendors, and third‑party contractors.
Excellent mentoring skills and the desire to contribute beyond the scope of day‑to‑day project work.
Proven ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to less experienced team members.
Experience in AWS cloud application design, development, and deployment.
Experience with event streaming and web service protocols like SOAP, REST, JSON, or Kafka.
General working knowledge of insurance data, investment data, and/or financial data.
Experience enabling integrations with vendor/SaaS platforms.
Ideal Qualifications
Experience with real‑time data processing, event‑driven architectures, or message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
Exposure to regulatory frameworks such as PCI‑DSS, GDPR, or SOX.
Experience using Figma (Dev Mode).
Experience with data development, including database design, modeling, ETL, and scheduling.
Proven experience working in financial services, such as banking, trading, asset management, or fintech.
Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
