This position will learn all areas of the Office of Grant Management including WIOA Programs, Governor’s Discretionary Grants, Senior Community Service Employment Program, National Dislocated Worker Grants, Department of Defense SHIPS Grant, and other awarded grants. The incumbent will attend local, regional, and statewide meetings with subgrantees, act as a liaison to local workforce development areas, provide technical assistance to subgrantees regarding fiscal and programmatic operations, work with accounting and fiscal staff to ensure proper allocation and expenditure of funds, interpret complex laws and regulations, prepare and submit quarterly and yearly reports to the U.S. Department of Labor and other partners, and research and draft correspondence, communications, policies, and related documentation. What You'll Need to Be Successful
Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills. Ability to interpret law and work independently. Valid driver’s license and successful completion of extensive background check. Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university and 3–5 years of directly related experience.
