As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an educational location, you will help deter security‑related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned areas. Your role involves responding promptly to situations, engaging with students, staff, and visitors, and upholding a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You’ll Do

Provide customer service to individuals at the educational location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner to assist with maintaining order within the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities and/or behaviors.

Observe and report any irregularities, such as security‑related breaches or unusual circumstances, to the appropriate personnel.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.

Support Allied Universal and client staff during special events, emergencies, and/or other campus functions as directed.

Minimum Requirements

Proof of a high school diploma or GED.

At least 21 years of age.

A valid driver’s license.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Background investigation requirement in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Consideration of qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Drug screen as required by law.

Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
