Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout academic buildings, residence halls, and surrounding campus grounds to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues. Monitor access points and report irregularities or suspicious behavior observed during patrols. Assist with emergency response activities, including providing information and guidance to individuals during incidents. Document and report all security-related incidents and daily activities as required by Allied Universal policies and client guidelines. Collaborate with campus staff and local authorities as needed to maintain a secure environment within the educational location. Minimum Requirements
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
