Associated British Ports is seeking a dedicated Senior Coxswain to join our team at the Port of Lowestoft, delivering a vital 24/7 pilotage service. About the Role

As Senior Coxswain, you will play a key role in the safe boarding and landing of pilots, the management and development of the Boat Crew team, and the upkeep of our pilot vessels. You’ll be at the heart of our marine operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For

Marine background with hands-on experience in boat handling across various craft. RYA Yachtmaster qualification with Commercial Endorsement (or Certificate of Competence). Valid ENG1 medical certificate. Radio (GMDSS) or VHF Short Range Certificate. Full UK Driving Licence. Current First Aid training. Strong knowledge of mandatory, regulatory, and safety responsibilities. Computer literacy and a flexible, committed approach to teamwork. Experience as a Coxswain on twin screw craft and knowledge of port operations or emergency plans would be advantageous. Why Join Us?
