Job Title: Project Controls Specialist
Location: Wilsonville, Alabama
Type: 12 month Contract
Compensation: $45.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid
Hours: 8am-5pm, 4 days onsite and 1 day remote
Project Controls Specialist Responsibilities
Responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on various project aspects, such as cost, schedule, and performance.
Play a critical role in ensuring that projects stay on track and meet their objectives within established parameters.
Develop and implement project control strategies and procedures.
Monitor project schedules, costs, and resource allocation to ensure adherence to project plans.
Analyze project data to identify potential risks and opportunities for performance improvement.
Collaborate with project managers to develop mitigation plans for identified risks.
Prepare comprehensive project control reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Provide guidance and support to junior project control team members.
Project Controls Specialist Requirements
5 to 10 years of experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
In-depth knowledge of project controls methodologies, including cost estimating, scheduling, and risk analysis.
Experience with advanced project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
Ability to develop and implement project controls strategies, analyze project data, and provide actionable insights to project teams.
