Communications and Media Manager
to share stories that inspire generosity and highlight the Foundation’s community impact. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your storytelling, writing, and multimedia skills to advance a respected local nonprofit with influence across Frederick County. Your talents will shine through:
Storytelling & Writing:
Develop compelling stories about donors, community impact, and philanthropy. Digital Content:
Create and manage engaging website, social media, and email content (WordPress, Mailchimp). Multimedia:
Produce high-quality visual, photo, and video content that enhances storytelling. Media Relations:
Build strong relationships with local media to pitch stories and share the organization’s mission. Event Support:
Help plan and manage events that bring the organization’s work to life.
What you will bring to the job:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years in communications, marketing, or media. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Proficiency with digital platforms and creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite a plus). A collaborative spirit and passion for community impact.
