A skilled
Protocol Analyst (Level III)
is sought to support high-impact mission objectives. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in signal analysis and network data characterization, particularly those familiar with deep packet and bit-level protocol analysis. Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and be able to pass additional vetting requirements. Salary Range:
$141,000 – $167,000 (USD) annually
Final compensation will be based on factors including education, experience, location, and skill level.
Additional performance bonuses and benefits may apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
bit-level protocol analysis
using specialized tools and techniques.
Utilize
Proforma ,
Packetswing , and
Linux command-line environments
(such as CASA networks).
Conduct deep dives into packet structures, signal flows, and data tagging processes.
Apply training and experience in
signals analysis , particularly from formal military programs.
Support mission-critical activities requiring deep understanding of communications signals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with:
Proforma
Bit-level analysis
Packetswing
Linux command line (CASA environment)
Familiarity with or completion of military training courses:
450 ,
451 ,
452 , or
Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP)
Additional vetting may be required for candidates with CASA-related experience.
Education & Experience Requirements (one of the following):
Bachelor’s degree + 8 years
of relevant experience
Associate’s degree + 10 years
of relevant experience
High school diploma or GED + 12 years
of relevant experience.
Acceptable degrees include
Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Sciences , or other related technical fields.
Relevant Experience Must Include:
Signals analysis
related to
communications signals
Bitstream
and
waveform analysis
Protocol analysis ,
network troubleshooting , and
traffic characterization
Network security analysis
Security Clearance:
